Legacy Fitness was formed in 2010. Legacy fitness is about creating a lifestyle not just a workout. My goal is to help you the client become healthy and give you the ability to reach your personal goals. I have been invovled in sports my entire life and a trainer since 2004. I have a passion to help people reach there goals and get in shape. I know that sounds cheesy but I honestly feel like I was put on this planet to do this job. I keep my rates low not because I feel I am not on the same level as every single one of my competitors but because I feel that getting in shape shouldnt come down to how much money you have. There are so many overpriced boot camps and trainers out there that seem to be in this field for the money. I truly want to help you reach your goals. If your not successful then I am not successful. So this is going to take both of our efforts for this to work.
Why you should train with me
There are a lot of great trainers out there that have no idea what its like to gain weight or be out of shape. They can bark out orders all day long but they don’t truly know what your going through. I have been on both sides of the fence. I have not ever been extremely out of shape or overweight. I am not saying that I am proud of my past or the fact that I have been out of shape. But I feel like part of what makes me a good trainer is because I have had a lot of the same issues and struggles that a lot of you have or are going through.
Let me give you a short run down on my low points in my life. First off I smoked for about 6 years. I also went through a faze where I didn’t really work out much and I ate terrible fast food alot. I was drinking alot and kidding myself thinking light beer was actually a good choice. It was about a 2 year period. I used all the excuses in the world. Like my job, not having a convenient time to workout, no energy…ect. I am sure you have heard or used one of those excuses before. I got up to a point when I was about 40 pounds overweight. I hated the way I looked and felt. I was sick of it all!! The smoking, low energy, and feeling like a hypocrite. Telling people one thing and doing another. That one still hurts.
So I flipped the switch, quit talking about how I was going to do it and just did it. I got in the gym 7 days a week. I quit smoking cold turkey and haven’t looked back. Now I am back to my true self. Down about 45 pounds and maintaining my weight now consistently. I must admit I feel great and can honestly say that I will never go back to that lifestyle. I know that you think its hard to give up all that stuff you think you want and need, but nothing you put in your mouth I.E. cigarettes, pop, beer, or food is going to make you feel as good as you you do when you look in the mirror or the compliments that your going to get.
So there is just a little run down on why I think I will be great at helping your reach your goals. Its not easy at first trust me. But all worth it. I have been there done that and know what it takes. I hope you will give me and my program a shot. I know that we can do this together.
